Christmas Time Is Here

We've been pretty busy these past couple weeks. Between school and shows I don't think any of us have slept much. My classes are finished now and I'm going to try to catch up on all of the things that I've neglected for the past month and a half. I've been whittling away at the stack of dirty dishes in my sink and I can see part of my bedroom floor again.

The end of November we played a show with Amien, our old washboard and harmonica player. It was fun to play with him again. Hopefully we'll do some more shows with him in the near future.

The party with Amien kicked off our Holiday gigs. We had two last week and one this week. Our gig last Friday was a bit more subdued than our typical dance shows. It was a fun change to play smooth instead of chunky. Maybe we'll work that into some of our dance songs as well.

The Old City Buskers are commonly mistaken for the Old City Busters. In retrospect we should have considered that our name sounds a lot like Old City Busters. As it turns out Old City Huskers is another way to mistake our name. I'm not sure if it supposed to be Old City Husker or Old City Huskers, but either way, they are all supposed to be Old City Buskers
